I put these in the calendar immediately. I might need to move it around a bit when I get closer to the date, which is fine. Otherwise you'd need an additional item on your calendar every week / month / etc. that says "check list for next week, and add to calender". I find putting it at an approximately reasonable place on my calendar and then moving it if necessary to be less overhead. Plus, you might plan for too many things in a future week without realizing it if you have a list.
